5 Stars Great Dressware
Totally impressed with the quality and materials of this boot. It shouldn’t take long to break them in propperly, but then I’ll be wearing them day in, day out. Yeah they’re made in China, but this is still a solid mudhole stomper.
Accept no substitute. Docs are it!!!
5 Stars Good Quality, good boot!
Very durable, comfortable… Really not too heavy. Those who say they are, obviously don’t wear boots.
Awesome!
I wear them all day, everyday for work in the military. Best boots I’ve ever had.
5 Stars Great Buy!
I live in boots.. work boots, combat boots, you name it, a pair never leaves my feet. I dont even think i own a pair of tennis shoes. Very well made and comfortable! A great buy all around, I couldn’t have asked for anything more!
4 Stars More than worth the cost
First of all a bought a pair of these about 7-8 years ago. I have worn them at least 2-3 times a week for that entire time. they are still in decent shape (except for the toes that I have torn up by kicking things when I am drunk). I don’t think I could ask for a better pair of boots. they are a little uncomfortable when breaking them in and the insole is hard leather. I would suggest getting some gel insoles and just replace them from time to time. Even the soles have stood the test of time. there is a bit of cracking on one of the sides but wear wise the trad is still mostly intact. Would I suggest these boots. I deffinatly would and that is why I aam ordering a second pair.
2 Stars Um, durable?
I like how durable they are, though they weigh 3lbs a piece. I don’t like how soles extend beyond the leather, agility suffers. They are VERY difficult to break in, and hurt your feet. The tongue is made of the same thick leather as the rest of the shoe, so when you lace them up tight it digs into your foot where the leather folds. Also, the lack of any notches in the lace-up portion make it difficult to move your ankle up and down. All in all, they’re armor for your feet, and they’re pretty to look at. But I wouldn’t buy them if you’re planning on wearing them every day, or working in them.
