5 Stars Survival Essential
The 100% wool U.S. Navy Spec Watch Cap is the best piece of cold weather gear ever made. When you sleep outdoors in cooler weather, a must have. No, they’re not as good (thick) as back in the sixties. But what is?

5 Stars Nice Cap
I bought this cap for some really cold weather, below freezing.

It did the job for me. After one week of wearing the cap, I noticed that my head was always warm and toasty when I needed it the most

5 Stars Submarine Sailor 1960 – 1964
Great product it’s the real thing…have not been able to find one to replace the many that I lost during my service. These hats saw a lot of service over the years…Many a cold night on watch waa spent with this hat worn by many a good sailor.

4 Stars A Basic Watch Cap
The US Navy Wool Watch Cap is a fine basic piece of headgear, and at $5.99 it is certainly priced right. It runs to the smaller sized head, but is still wearable for my size 7 3/4. If you live in a very cold clime (below zero) you will want something more substantial. The wool itself is high quality and doesn’t itch. This hat is a better purchase than anything you’ll find at the mall.
