8 inch Black Forced Entry Tactical Boot with side zipper for Police EMS EMT

These 8 Forced Entry tactical boots provide a heavy-duty YKK zipper for easy on and off, perfect for police officers, EMTs or other emergency personnel who need to gear up quickly, but also great for anyone else who doesn’t like the hassle of lacing up their boots. Now, when you have them fitted just right, you can peel open the Velcro protection tab and unzip them instead of unlacing them. You’ll be assured of the perfect fit next time you put them on. These high-quality boots have a leather upper with a pigskin leather collar and full-grain vamp. The tongue is gusseted, so you won’t have to worry about it slipping out of place, and the boot has a moisture-wicking lining to help keep your feet dry after a hard day on the job. The hardware is rust proof, and there are speed laces, should you decide to forgo the zipper. The sole has a slip-resistant tread and a steel shank for support. Please note, we find these to be slightly over-sized, compared to sneakers, so you ay want to consider ordering a half size lower than your sneakers or street shoes. Available from size 3 to size 13.

5 Stars Great all purpose work boot
These boots are easy on, easy off… Comfort is mediocre, but durability has shown to be great…

5 Stars Very satisfied
I was a little worried about buying these boots, since they’re under $50 and my last pair was over $120 and lasted me just under three years of constant walking, but I took the plunge and I’m extremely happy I did.

The side zipper was what sold it for me, since my last pair were 10-inch lace-ups (a pain). The zipper feels a little tight on the last inch or so, but it’s an extremely minor complaint, and the convenience is a lifesaver, making these even easier to wear than sneakers. The construction feels solid, I like the material, and they’re comfortable, if sized a bit large, but a nice insole fixed that right up perfectly and makes walking even nicer. On the side, though, don’t completely unlace them without making note of the pattern; there’s some odd side-loops that took me 30 minutes to figure out after I took the laces off, but they make the actual lacing more comfortable if done right.

One of my favorite points, though, is the look. I can wear these to church with my best Sunday suit or with jeans and a t-shirt, and they still look sharp and professional. My only real complaint is that I can’t actually run in them, but as they get broken in, I’m sure that will change. Definitely happy with this purchase, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good pair of boots.
