4 Stars Lots of Pockets and Compartments
It has lots of pockets and compartments. It will hold a laptop. As the previous reviewer said, it is heavy since it is made of a canvas material. I plan to use it as a travel/carry with me type bag in lieu of a briefcase, so I think it’ll work for my purpose.
5 Stars A Great Multi-Purpose Bag for Men
I purchased the M-51 engineers field bag about a month ago. I bought it with the intention of using it to carry my netbook, and a few other essential items with me that I can’t do without. This bag has worked out great. I’ve been carrying it with me every day and it holds everything that I need it to, and does it securely. It’s tough and resilient, with about twenty different pockets of varying size. I haven’t filled all the pockets, yet have found a way to put everything into it that I want with me. I highly recommend this bag if you want something easy to carry with the capacity to carry quite a few things!
1 Star oh my its so heavy
The bag looks nice but beware its so heavy. I mean really heavy empty so I have used it for a week or so and now I have to try another one. It will look good in my closet though.

This bag is pretty cool. It is exactly what I was looking for. It has lots of room and is pretty durable. So far, so good.

This bag is ultra tough! With more pockets and compartments than I could dream of, I was shocked to find a whole new hidden one two weeks after buying the bag and walking around with it everyday. I take it everywhere with me, especially to work. It is tough, durable and withstands the beatings I put it through. Great quality, I can fit my laptop or a ton of files and books. There’s a perfect pocket for an ipod, cigarettes, tons of pens, cell phone. Anything you need to stash in this bag, there’s a place for it. I love it and get compliments on it all the time.
